The Amazon looks like the one I have - and love. It's so much faster than I
am, especially at the peeling - and I have pretty decent knife skills. You
can also make long strings of harder veggies to cook as noodles or hash
browns. It will quickly peel potatoes that aren't too long or bumpy. It
makes making a pie as easy as pie.

Can anyone recommend a good apple peeler/slicer? I.e. something along
these lines:
http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Machine--Peeler-Corer-Slicer/dp/B000UZA2HQ/

or

http://www.lehmans.com/store/Kitchen___Helpers_and_Accessories___Peelers_and
_Pitters___Reading_78_Apple_Peeler___78?Args=
(peels, but doesn't slice or core)

I think I could live without the slicer....not sure I could live without
the corer. Thoughts?
