I use it for weeds coming through cracks, or ones outside the garden – individual weeds or small patches.  The manufacturer says “BurnOut can be used on walkways, driveways, shrubbery beds and any where else as a post defoliant to control weeds and unwanted grass.”

I don’t use it on large areas or in the garden – spraying a quantity could irritate one’s lungs.  For the garden I solarize beds now and then, and plant intensively and weed.  The beds become almost completely weed-free if I keep moving in new plants/seeds every time I turn under the older crop.  For perennials, the corn gluten stuff can work as a pre-emergent.

<and wash any off right away
with a thin baking soda paste.

The stuff has worked really well for me, and I'd much rather use it than the
chemically manufactured herbicides.<<

So it's a go? Spring is such a long way away :-(
