The problem is much worse in the US where there are
more GM plants. The comment that "for all intents and
purposes there are not GM plants" in Europe is simply
incorrect. GM plants are found in many European
countries. The highest concentration appears to be in
Spain which, coincidentally or not, appears to have
the worst CCD problems in Europe.
