The University of Nebraska Extension was a co-sponsor of the Aronia (chokeberry) presentation I mentioned previously, which was done by Dr. Everhart last fall.

That's interesting. My local extension service wasn't much help (not specifically about Aronia, but with my fruit questions in general). They told me the fruit specialist at the University of Nebraska had left and not been replaced.

And they used to have a lot of publications on-line, but I was told they removed them for revision. There are a few back on-line now, I see, but only two in the "Fruits" section? Doesn't seem to be much of anything yet.

If you haven't tried, maybe the Univ of Ne's Backyard Farmer site might have info on Aronia. (And for everybody else, the Univ of Nebraska produces a program called Backyard Farmer which is a tremendous resource. They say it's the oldest continuous show on TV. Google Backyard Farmer for links.)

It's a great show, though it's not on the air this time of year. I haven't searched the website (http://byf.unl.edu/) for Aronia, but for some reason, I can't get any of their video clips to work. Well, I'll have to look into it later, I suppose.

Thanks - to everyone - for the replies!
