Althgough there aren't any obvious interactions between Carbaryl (Sevin) and
milk that would make either less effective, it's still not recommended that
they be combined. Generally, you should never combine fungicides,
herbicides, and pesticides - not even two of each - unless they've been
tested together. Specifically, the makers of Sevin recommend not only that
it not be combined with other treatments, but that you treat the greater
problem first (say, treating blossom end rot with milk) a week before
applying the other (in this example, Sevin for tomato hornworm).

Another problem is that you should really tailor your treatment to the
problem at hand, considering targeted action, least environmental impact,
safety, efficacy, and cost effectiveness. The biggest general problem with
overuse or nontargeted use of Sevin is its high toxicity to bees. So you
may protect those hypothetical tomato plants above, but they won't set much
fruit because their pollinators died.

Hello All,

Can Sevin be added to a milk based fungal spray, to make it complete?

9 parts water to 1 part milk, then added appropriate amount of Sevin based
on total water?

Curious.

Thanks,
Tom
