Hi

Well we had a total of 11 inches of rain for the total of May. It was very wet here but it is now nearly no standing water. I am on the top of my road for this half mile stretch. I am about 6 foot higher than the roads on each end.

Trees are growing very good. The weather is still on the cooler side. nights have been as low as 42 at night. But usually closer to 50s.

Figs are growing and I have few brebas. Persimmons are not in blossom yet, also the Kiwis are not blossoming yet. We need some warmer nights.

Even though it is cool, I do have some heartnuts taking. It is really to cool for it, But I won't call them a failure for a month.  Hardy Pecans are just now showing male bloom. I think it may be to late for some especially if we don't get warmer nights.

I still have a lot of Lilacs here in bloom, Clematis.
