Kevin (and others):

Our experience with Bramley is as follows.
1. It is moderately scab resistant (as someone said), but sensative to
fireblight.
2. It is not a pollinator (triploid) and flowers are somewhat sensative to
frost damage.
3. Quality is poor for fresh eating, okay (not great) for pies. Many are
superior here--including Suncrisp, Spigold and Sweet 16.
4. Nothing outstanding about it except its large fruit size.
