Hi,

Composting BBQ ash (cont'd)

Here in Ontario the bags of BBQ charcoal have no ingredients
listed on them, so I had trouble finding one that contained
no coal. I took a stab and bought a bag of Royal Oak - Star
Grill - Lump Charcoal and then checked it out on the web.

All I could learn was: "Royal Oak's real hardwood lump
charcoal is a natural for the cookout enthusiast!"

Do the bags of charcoal in the US list ingredients?
Although this web page claims "hardwood lump charcoal" I
don't want to compost it till I know more.

I could not find a web page for Royal Oak. I am hoping that
US packaging is different than Canadian as someone can
advise me.

Thanks in advance,
Tom
