cool beans - was wondering if I was losing it. Personally, I have stepped
back from active role in the NGMSAR team. They have been training a lot and
still building relationships with local agencies. It has been a challenge to
get local agencies to recognize the benefits of having a mounted team on-call
but the team hasn't lost any motivation and belief that they can
contribute/support.

Update-- New USCG Auxiliary for Martha's Vineyard

Tracy,

I think Irv meant to send that to me personally. It is relevant
to one of my team mates.

So, what are you all up to? I've been working a *lot* of SAR
missions but as IMT not MSAR. IMT people are in even shorter
supply than MSAR here in New Mexico. I request MSAR resources,
write task assignments for them, debrief them. Envy them...

Tell me what enviable things you've been doing?

Una
