The Bucks County (PA) Health Department announced that the latest surveys
of mosquitos in the county showed over a 10% positive for West Nile Virus.
The virus was identified in Doylestown, Doylestown Township and Warrington.
Delaware Valley College's Equestrian Center and experimental farm is located
in the Doylestown area. There have been no human cases reported outside of
Philadelphia County but the Bucks County spray program for adult mosquito
control will continue between 8PM and 11 PM.
 
In a related event, a mosquito control helicopter operated by Cape May (NJ)
was heavily damaged during an emergency landing in a residential area Monday.
The pilot and observer are reported to in good shape, pictures of the helicopter in the trees
make it look like a total loss, The NTSB is investigating the accident.
