Good article on a portable First Aid kit. Has a reasonable list of goods to pack... could be added to though for greater improvement.

Five gallon buckets with snap lids are good, more than one may be better.

Horses can bleed profusely if injured... I think they are skimping on the number of telfas to take.. diapers are good....rolled cotton...much better

I would be adding tubes of electrolytes, duct tape, leg wraps, quilts, 13 gallon trash bags and more.

The article states "ask your vet regarding prescription meds to carry"....however fails to mention how to store them properly when going portable...... many need to be in a cool dry place...or refridgerated....So what are you packing  for a fridgerator or cooler?

Coleman has a plug in fridge that is portable, goes in the cig lighter..., keeps milk good for days....runs around $100.   Ice packing a cooler is a royal pain.
