This news story was too much fun to not share. ;) 

But rather than be completely off topic I'll mention that the cell phones with cameras - some can even do short [small!] video - can be very useful in SAR / disaster response (assuming cell service) to share a specific view with the ICP via cell phone email. This might be anything from a shoe print to a collapsed structure.

For those not familiar with cell phone camera images, I've provided a sample on http://www.ceoates.com/flag.jpg  I took that photo with my cell phone (Nokia 6820) several weeks ago, standing @ 15 feet from the base of the 25 ft flag pole in my front yard, and sent it to my home email. The images are functional in quality and size, if you're close enough to get a reasonable shot.
