Wow - I didn't read that far!

This is on their Home page: "Our seeds are untreated, most are open-pollinated, and many are certified organic."

What is it about favas that requires fumigation, anybody know?

Thanks, Deb!

Unfortunately, the fine print says that the beans are fumigated by USDA and may not be suitable for organic production.  I’m not certified, but trying to be organic, so I may not be able to use these.

Thanks for the info!

Howdy.

I JUST got an email from Seeds from Italy.  Not sure what quantities you need or the exact variety, but here's what they have:

They do offer some bulk for farmers but not on all varieties.

Hi, Folks!

I have a buyer who would like me to grow fava beans for her.  However, she wants the smaller Mediterranean-style favas, not the large English “broad beans”/Windsor type.

So far, I’m only seeing the Windsor type offered in catalogs.  Anyone have a source for the smaller favas?

Thanks!
