I use Tsunami 100 in our rinse water. It's peroxide based and really helps.

I have a farmers' market customer who has a large home garden and swears by harvesting and then soaking/ washing her leafy greens and other vegetables in water that she had added food grade hydrogen peroxide (35%).  She believes it keeps her vegetables fresher longer.

Has anybody ever heard of this or recommend this?

I find the concept very interesting but I've never heard of farmers adding anything to their wash water.

Thanks in advance for the help,
