If those grasses harbor wireworms like the timothy in my alfalfa-timothy sod,
then I could see a potential problem with wireworm damage. But, that is just
speculation on my part.

Does anyone out there have experience planting garlic into a living oat,
oat/pea, sorgum or other winter killed cover crop?

I've considered trying to rip slits into the standing cover and then allow
the cover crop to winter kill and lay down as mulch. Curious if others have
tried this and what they learned.

Thanks
Brian
