Carrots last weeks for me in the cool-bot W/O tops.
I have found that if I leave the tops on, the carrots are ruined within days, even in sealed totes. They get soft and pliable.  I only leave the tops on when I pull them the day before market.

How long do carrots with tops last in your walkin coolers?  I have mine in Buckhorn totes, but have been taking tops off what we are harvesting now, assuming they'll start looking ratty within a couple weeks.  Should I be stockpiling carrots with tops?
