Allan, I would think that someone's insurance, should be paying for your fence and the labor to repair it. plus any other damage. Bill

Went out around 10 to switch zones on the irrigation and found the
whole farm lit up with flashing lights Everything from
hook-and-ladders to flashing unmarked cars were in the highway. There
was a passenger car and a rollback quite aways out in my pasture. I
parked at the greenhouse and walked down to the commotion. In sort of
a funny way, I was treated as an intruder and, when it comes down to
it, I got my name on the accident report 'for the fence,' but wasn't
allowed to look at damage in the pasture. Since you get pepper
sprayed, cuffed and your face run in the asphalt for questioning cops
in this area, I just let it go and will look at things in the morning.

I don't know how many posts I lost, but it crosses my mind that both
me and my damages were trivialized last night. I dont think they
should be in the long run. I don't relish dropping posts in this
spring drought, nor do I have the time. And, frankly, I don't really
care to have spliced wire where once I had full run.

Anyone had to deal with this sort of situation before? Or have advice
on what to ask for and what to expect. I'm expecting a small herd of
beef for that pasture some time next week.

Thanks

-Allan, out in Something-Happenin'-every-minute West Virginia
