Marlin,

Could you please give us contact information for E & R Seeds, so that we can follow your suggestion and give them business?  I have purchased from Amish folks in the past, and am incredibly impressed with the quality of what they provide, and their whole philosophy.

Take care, and know that we all are sending you at least our best wishes and prayers.
Becky French

I must hasten to mention that another of my suppliers, E & R Seeds, in response to my request to resend the order I had placed around Jan 25, sent the order in what appeared to be a considerably larger box than the one containing my earlier order. In the top was a brief note telling me that as a very small token of compensation for my loss they would not charge me anything for the replaced seed. As I began digging into the packing peanuts covered contents I found other things besides seeds--a pack of socks, two blankets, and several towels. This is what I would call going the second mile and I had not even asked them to go the first mile with me. I need to order a few more seeds from them to round out my seed needs and plan to send a check in the mail in the next couple of days along with a letter of gratitude and a promise to send them some hard copy of the story I am presently in process of writing about the fire. I think they are Amish and do not use the Internet. I
would encourage all of you to give some of your seed and supplies business to E & R Seed in the future as I believe they are honest and deserving, hard working people.
