Does someone have a list of woody perennial shrubs and small trees that can be used in a cut flower business? How about bulbs that s.b. planted NOW? Thanks -Allan

ATTRA has a publication titled Woody Ornamentals for Cut Flower Growers that you should find useful. You can find it--with photos in color--on our Web site, or order a free printed copy--black and white--by calling us at 800-346-9140. On my own place, I currently have American Beautyberry ready to harvest, am growing red twig dogwood to be sold as bare branches anytime after hard frost, and forsythia, which blooms in the spring. Bulbs to plant now for spring flowers: daffodils, tulips, Dutch iris, Alliums. We can send more information about any of these, including plant or bulb sources, if you need that information.
