Bev,

I have not found an affordable and good system. Components are available to
make a great alarm system, but at the temperatures we are wanting to protect
they are not generally consumer level items.

I am working on an approach that will hopefully solve the problem. If it
works I will post it in the future.

At present, I use common remote digital thermometer with a programmable
alarm available at some electronic stores and most hardware stores.

regarding freezer alarms - how haw folks set these up and who does this -
