Hi Richard & Faye,

Farmers' Markets may be a tough sell in Lake of the Ozarks territory. Tourists tend to eat in restaurants not shop at farmers' markets. Having said that, the folks who own the restaurants and motel/hotels do live and eat there. The market could serve the higher-end restaurant trade in the area. And the local chefs may come and show how to cook various products.

Your Extensionist is correct, we do a poor job of cultivating market farmers and there are more slots for growers than growers to fill them almost everywhere.
