I deleted most of this nonsense. Talk about whining. You inform us less
about dairy farmers than you do your disposition toward them. I know many
dairy farmers well enough to know few of them drive new trucks. At least
they use the trucks they own as trucks, rather than personal transportation
devices. And despite the way you "personally feel", they are not making too
much money. Most dairy farmers do not own new combines and other farm
equipment. And you think because they show up at farm auctions they must not
be very busy? Which is it, do they buy new equipment or used equipment? Or
are they not supposed to use equipment? I've known lumberman as well as many
other folks who earn their living working hard and getting dirty. I used to
be concrete finisher myself so I know what hard work is. I wouldn't want to
be a dairy farmer because they work too hard, too many hours in the day for
the rewards they get out of it. It really disturbs me to hear someone whine
about them having too much money and not enough work to do. If they whined
half as much as you, at least they'd have sufficient reason, but most of
them don't. Give'm a break and let them earn a living without trashing them.
It's hard enough without the uninformed making life more miserable for them.
