I haven't looked in recent years but DuPont made a product
called Protek, targeted at mechanics and painters, which
created a silicon shield good against just about anything.
You put it on your hands directly. It worked great to prevent
oils and dirt from getting into your hands and was removable
with soap and water, but not water alone or petroleum solvents.

You might find it in the local auto parts, hardware or paint store.

The effect was gloves without the sweat factor or protection
offered by the additional layer of cloth, latex or leather.
