A special cart-building workshop for market gardeners is being offered December 2, 2000 on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

The participants will build and take home at the end of the day, their very own specialized cart. The seated-cart can be used for a variety of work tasks on the smaller market garden farm (weeding, transplanting, harvesting). A photo and drawing of the cart can be seen at: http://bse.wisc.edu/HFHP/CartPage.htm

The cost of the course is $100, and includes lunch! Space is limited. For more information on signing up contact John Hendrickson at the Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems (608) 265-3704, or jhendric AT facstaff.wisc.edu

This course is part of the Wisconsin School for Beginning Market Gardeners which will be offered from January 18 - 20 at the UW-Madison.

Best regards,

bob
