CMS Developer

ITS Web Services is seeking a CMS Developer for a 20 hour/week contract position. You’ll work closely with the Web Developer, Web Designer, and Communications team and work on highly visible ITS and UNC-CH web projects. The CMS Developer will assist in the administration and support of the University’s enterprise content management system (Oracle UCM) and potentially other CMS tools such as WordPress and Drupal. Our ideal candidate is someone who “wears different hats” and can assist with adding enhancements and plug-ins to existing websites, training content editors, addressing support tickets, and collaborating with others. Sound like you? Get in touch!

Resumes should be sent to itsweb AT unc.edu. Please include “CMS Developer Position” in subject line.

  • Strong experience with CMS (Content Management Systems) and/or web publishing tools.
  • 4+ years of experience with X/HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL/SQL, and _javascript_
  • Familiarity with web standards, accessibility, and browser compatibility issues
  • Team player with a strong desire to create great customer experiences.
  • Great communication skills
  • Portfolio samples a plus
