Looks like the foot of a wading bird, probably one of the species you
see darting in and out of the water along the beach.

Playing "name the dismembered body part" is so much fun it should be a regular part of InternetWorkers! Who wants to go next? Surely someone has seen some roadkill lately, or has a pet they're not fond of...
