Hi Geoff,

I use Joomla and as one of my clients said recently they are "enamored" with it. It is really flexible and it can handle a 100 page site with no problem. http://www.joomla.org/

I can create their site and provide training and support. And I'm located in Durham.

Carol

A friend at a local nonprofit has asked me about upgrading their site to an open source content management system. I pointed them to a few companies who do Plone, but they want to explore a broader range of CMS options.

They have a fairly modest sized site (~100 pages) and relatively low traffic (a few hundred visitors/day), so they don't need anything super heavy-duty. What matters more to them, I think, is having a reliable service provider who can provide support and training and who will be around for awhile. The company doesn't have to be local.

Any recommendations?

Geoff
