Hello Lyman,

This is just a suggestion.

What you're doing sounds a lot like what I did with my mothballed Atari Falcon030 some months ago. After spending years with the machine and generating dozens of data files, documents, etc. with it, I didn't want to see it wither permanently in storage.

I found that the Usenet newsgroups, especially those under comp.sys, were the most useful in my case. It may be that since the user community for these older systems was very active on Usenet, they haven't left.

The European user community kept things going, probably because computers are more expensive there. People are less likely to upgrade to new machines frequently.

You may want to scan the topics or do some google groups searches on comp.sys.amiga.*, people inherit older systems all the time and ask about getting them running.
