Once you've had your eyes examined.... I can't tell you how great Mark
Tenney, in Carrboro, is, when it comes time to fill your glasses
prescription. He's fast and less expensive than just about anyone I
know (except -maybe- the eyeglass store in Sams). He is an
old-fashioned sort of service provider, and gladly works with you if
you have an odd or unusual eyeglasses or issues. For example, I'm
unhappy with bifocals 'cause they mess up my distance vision in fully
half of my visual field -- the half that watches my next step (and my
horse's path when I'm riding). Mark is going to order an extra set of
clip-ons for me (in addition to the sunglasses) and turn them into
gradiated reading glasses for my next 'script, thus solving my
problem, and stylishly, too! So, that's Tenny Opticians at 304 Weaver
Street, Suite 206; telephone 919.929.5926. ~B
