The Flash .fla is being held for moderator approval. If you would like me
to send it to you directly, I'd be glad to. Thanks! Colleen

Subject: [internetworkers] Basic Flash Questions

Hi Folks,

I have a few questions to which you some of you might know the answers.
I'll send out the .fla in a separate email as Outlook did not like my
enclosing it in this.

1) How do I get sound to continue for the length of my animation?

2) I want to run the animation as it is through frame 60. On frame 60, I
want to start a masking effect. The background that I want to mask is called
"background" and the text that I want to be the window is "Join Us!". The
photo that is the background for the mask is BellaNapoli4.jpg. (The photo
that is the transition and "trans hold" is BellaNapoli1.jpg. Both photos
look similar. In BellaNapoli1.jpg, there is a woman with a pink top at the
back of the photo. In BellaNapoli4.jpg she is in the front. Some of you
know this woman as Cheri Taylor :) If you turn off transition and "trans
hold" you can see the photo that I want to mask, where Cheri is in the
foreground.) I don't know what to do with the other layers when I am doing
the masking. I'm also not sure how to set the background to a color so that
the background occludes everything but the window text.

Thanks much for any help that you can provide!

Take care,
Colleen
