tried to get a Black & Tan in Ireland they would most likely either laugh
or boot you in the can.




On the other hand, they will happily pour you a shandy (especially if you are a woman or child - yes, child), which is a combination of lager and "lemonade" (what we refer to at Sprite or 7-Up). Very strange combination, but quite yummy. The kids generally get just a splash of lager.

No accounting for tastes.
