related to all this, i recently read an rather biting article where the
author
urged techies to "stop messing about in politics" and that they are better
off
spending their time developing technologies that make the
old-fogey-tech-illiterate-washingtonians "irrelevant."

it was an inspiring read - perhaps mentioned on this list. i would love it if
someone else could provide the link. if not, i will try to scrounge it up
tonite. i felt as if the author was speaking to me directly, if not to many
of
you. definitely worth consideration.
