I use www.iserver.com and really like it. You get a "virtual os", where you
share hardware, but it appear's like you have control over the entire os. You
can choose either Free BSD or Solaris, and can compile and install anything
you like, although it comes with a pretty good array of software
preconfigured. The price starts at $55/month, and includes unlimited
bandwidth.
