I just located my new office in Downtown Durham and I love it. My office view is looking at the Durham Arts council.

Downtown Durham Inc. was very helpful in helping me get established. We are about two blocks from Brightleaf and I frequently walk with clients down to the Satisfactions or Devine's for lunch. When I want a mind break I walk over to Millennium music and listen to CD's for an hour.

Traffic is never to heavy and all the downtown business folks are pretty friendly an excited about the revitalization of downtown. There are a quite a few local artist who have settled in. Three weeks ago I went around and visited my new neighbors and everyone was very warm and genuine as I dropped in on them. Can you imagine that happening anywhere else?

I really enjoy the older look and feel of these buildings. It lends itself to the artsy feel that I would like to maintain with my multimedia company.

Six months ago I would have never considered downtown but now I' m glad I did.

It would be great if the American Tobacco project filled up with young

new ball park.

Durham has two advantages over Raleigh and Chapel Hill: real estate costs
less and the central location means you can easily get around the Triangle.
