Yeah, yeah yeah, I should definitely clarify what I wrote below...
I listen to a lot of talk radio and you hear various pundits bantering back and forth on this topic. I was mostly regurgitating what I heard on the radio, not stating my own position. I LOVE the Olympics. I am one of those who will watch the games (summer and winter) 24/7. The purity of athletic competition should not be spoiled by politics...but people are definitely talking boycott..

I have heard rumors boycott for weeks, mostly on the Tibet/human rights issues from Europe, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we boycotted them, too. We are in a financial/moral war with China, and we could get a shot in by boycotting the Olympics.
