To make your own citrus oil spray:

1. Grind the rind of two or three lemons (add one orange if the lemon
smell bothers you)
2. Place it in 1 qt. of water.
3. Bring to a full boil for one minute
4. Remove from stove, cover and let it stand at room temperature
overnight.
5. In the morning strain the mixture.
6. Pour in a spray bottle
7. Be sure to keep stored in refrigerator when not in use.

It is best to check on a single leaf of your plants before spraying
on the whole plant as some plants may be sensitive to citrus oil. IF
after spraying on a single leaf (or use a cotton ball to dab on) the
leaf isn't harmed, go ahead and apply it to the rest of the plant.
Citrus oil repels most insects. It is generally safe for people,
pets and plants.
