You might have a look at Fowler's _Loaves and Fishes_ and Werner Kelber's _The
Kingdom in Mark_ and and article on the feeding stories that G. H. Boobyer
published in SJT in 1953. But other commentators have great doubts on
whether so
much weight can be placed upon the terms for baskets. See the review of the
thesis as well as lots of references to literature on the stories and their
composition in, say Gundry's, Guelich's, and now Joel Marcus' commentaries on
GMark.
