I added src/apps/osql to our CVS tree today. It should be in tonight's
snapshot.

osql is a Bourne shell script that reads your odbc.ini, odbcinst.ini,
and freetds.conf, checking them for completeness. It determines the
name of the driver file and verifies it's readable. It looks up the IP
address of the server. Then it execs isql. It assumes unixODBC is the
isql in use.

I hope osql will help people vet their odbc configuration before turning
to Google and the mailing list. Much as I think the ML is a helpful
resource, error messages can provide quicker, more precise guidance.

Syntax is just like tsql:

osql -S server -U user -P password

I would appreciate feedback on whether or not it works for you. Patches
would be even better.

TODO: man page & modify Makefile.am to install it.
