hany,

I've also written something similar which remains unpublished.
My version does Sybase -> MSSQL, MSSQL -> Sybase, ORACLE -> Sybase , ORACLE
-> MSSQL
I have to link in to some proprietory libraries for ORACLE, and use their C
pre-compiler.
I suppose you have the same issues with DB2.

Maybe there's some mileage in this though...
