A note about working at Groundswell Center:
As a mission-based and community-involved organization, Groundswell staff positions require frequent flexible hours including some evenings and occasional weekends. We feel community involvement is key to developing relationships and building trust in our community and thus, essential to the development of an equitable and just food system.  To balance this requirement, we also strongly support a work-life balance, using personal and vacation time, and offer occasional flexibility such as working from home. It is our intention that all Groundswell staff have a strong interest and commitment to social and racial justice and sustainable farming and a demonstrated willingness to learn more and engage in continuing education on related topics. Groundswell staff are each welcomed as part of the team and expected to participate in visioning and planning work of the organization.
