Winter Garden - Kitchen Garden Tour
Sunday, January  8, 1:00-3:00pm
@ S. Lansing location, provided to registrants Tour a 'high tunnel' (and a low tunnel) which supply much of this household's winter produce! A high tunnel is a tall plastic-enclosed growing area that relies on sunlight and captured heat to grow hardy greens. This early January tour will showcase the veggies at their most abundant. Address and directions available upon sign-up and payment. Limited parking. Limit of 15 participants. Please pre-register and pre-pay ($7/person) by calling Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County (607) 272-2292. The location of the high tunnel will be emailed to registered participants.
