Fall Gardening -  Late Vegetables and Winter Cover Crops

Cost: $5-$10 (sliding scale)

Late summer is a great time to plant salad and cooking greens, cilantro and peas for fall harvest. It's also the best time to plant garlic for spring harvest, and over-wintering cover crops can also be sown now to add fertility and improve soil texture. Learn which crops are suitable for fall planting and when to plant them, and different methods for over-wintering vegetable garden beds.
