Seed Saving Techniques: Harvesting & Drying

Wednesday September 4, 6:30–8:30pm
at Cooperative Extension Education Center, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca NY

How do you know when your seeds are ready to harvest? This hands-on class will include collecting seed from the CCE-Tompkins’ seed saving demonstration garden, fermenting tomato seeds, and drying and packaging techniques for long-term storage.  Cost: $5-$10 (self-determined sliding scale).
