For those who are interested, you can still volunteer with the Citizen Pruner program even if you missed last week’s class! Details below!

Join the Citizen Pruner Program!
Citizen Pruner volunteers get lots of hands-on pruning practice during weekly work sessions held from May to October.  Volunteer once a week or when available. Generally there is one one morning (8:30-10:00am) work session and one early evening (5:30-7:00pm) work session per week. Volunteers work throughout the City of Ithaca pruning street trees and in parks.  For a volunteer job description and to register for the classes, call (607) 272-2292 or email Monika Roth at
