Listmates,

The next application deadline for Sustainable Tompkins Neighborhood Mini-grants is just 3 weeks away.

Sustainable Tompkins Neighborhood Mini-Grants support projects of Tompkins County residents and organizations with “seed money” to make their neighborhoods more sustainable. Applications are accepted quarterly and the next round closes on March 1, 2013.

If you (or a friend) have an idea for a project you think is Mini-grant worthy, email Karen AT sustainabletompkins.org or call us at 607-216-1552. We’ll send along an application form and answer any questions you might have. Applications are reviewed quarterly by the Mini-Grant Council, comprised of local citizens and members of Sustainable Tompkins board and staff. Awards range from $150 to $750. For more details, and guidelines, click here.

The perfect way to honor your valentine? A gift to the Neighborhood Mini-grant Program in his or her name!

Funds for the Neighborhood Mini-grant program come from the Park Foundation, Suzanne Aigen of Aigen Financial Services and her matching gift partner Prudential and from people like you who want to support neighborhood projects. Make a gift before March 1 and we'll get your money working in the community right away. To give click here.

Thank you and Happy Lunar New Year,

--
