< Why, it was Jennifer Leslie, of course.
---
> A deranged fan.

< Who is Jennifer Leslie? Well, other than that question, for
< awhile once I was getting lots of questions about body
< piercing. I think somebody had a link to a Doctor Fun cartoon
< on a body piercing web site, but I never got to the bottom of
< it. (I don't have any body piercings - sorry.) There was an
< exchange once that started to sound like the person writing me
< had an actual human head in a jar, but it turned out to be
< simple confusion.

< I used to run marathons. Now I mostly run ultramarathons. I'm
< not very fast, but I finish.
<
< I've been working on a running page forever, and never get
< close to finishing it, so I might as well stick some of it
< here.
<
< Here's some running pictures.
< * Jungfrau Marathon, 2001
< * Chicago Lakefront 50K, 2001
< * Atlanta Marathon, 1999
<
< Now, can you guess which two of those races I had diarrhea?
<
< And here's a stupid stunt I pulled in 2000. I thought it would
< be fun to run a marathon and then jump on a plane, fly halfway
< around the world, and run another one. It was less planned
< than it was a crime of opportunity put together a couple weeks
< before it happened. I always go to Atlanta over Thanksgiving
< to see my sister and her family, and run the Atlanta Marathon
< (my favorite marathon, so far). And I owed an old friend of
< mine who was teaching in Bangkok, Thailand, a visit. So, when
< I found out the Bangkok Marathon was being run the Saturday
< after Thanksgiving, I put it all together. The Atlanta
< Marathon was on November 23, and the Bangkok Marathon was on
< November 26. Because I lost 12 hours flying west to Bangkok, I
< had to finish the Atlanta Marathon, eat Thanksgiving dinner,
< and then jump on a plane to Los Angeles to make my connection.
< * Here's the Atlanta Marathon
< * Followed by the Bangkok Marathon
<
< I've got more pictures of races from start to finish: God's
< Country Marathon 2000, Berlin Marathon 2000, Ice Age Trail
< 2001, Jungfrau Marathon 2001, Iceland Ultramarathon 2002. If I
< ever get them ready, I'll add them here.
---

> but these are the only ones I have pictures of. I also run
> with the Lincoln Park Pacers. Join us for a run if you're in
> Chicago and you run.

< There. I've probably made a complete ass out of myself and
< insulted everybody. Aren't you happy now? David
---
> There you go. That's the story, at least as I remember it.
> David
