I could use some help.____

James Dunn's magesterial: Theology of Paul the Apostle is hard to beat. If
you want something short, N. T. Wright: What Saint Paul Really Said is Very
Punchy.

Both are Eerdmans books: Check out the site www.eerdmans.com.

Eerdmans has been doing a lot of stuff on Paul on both sides of the "new
perspectives" divide.

They have also Seyoon Kim's "Paul and the New Perspective" which critiques
Dunn, Sanders, et. al. They have a fine book that roots Pauline theology in
Pauline spirituality in Michael Gorman's "Cruciformity: Paul's Narrative
Spirituality of the Cross.

Two new titles appearing soon and worth reading are: Gathercole's (contra
new perspective): "Where is Boasting: Early Jewish Soteriology and Pauls
Response in Romans 1-5, and Karl Donfried's new: "Paul, Thessalonica and
Early Christianity."
