Dear commons researchers,

The Cyberspace Law and Policy Centre at the University of New South Wales, as part of its ARC-funded Unlocking IP project, will be holding a conference, 'National and Global Dimensions of the Public Domain', to be held on 16-17 April, 2009 in the new UNSW Faculty of Law building:
  <http://www.cyberlawcentre.org/unlocking-ip/2009/>

The call for papers is at <http://www.cyberlawcentre.org/unlocking-ip/2009/papers.htm>. Details of publication of papers and contact details for the conference organisers can be found in the call for papers.

Submissions are welcome on any topic relevant to the theme of the conference, and are due by 4 March 2009. Registrations will open shortly; you can put your name on the list to be notified. A sense of the likely topics to be covered by the conference can be seen in the list of preliminary conference sessions at <http://www.cyberlawcentre.org/unlocking-ip/2009/program.htm>. However I should say that the topics can be significantly broader than this. Any commons-specific research topic has the potential to be relevant to the conference.

Previous conferences of the Unlocking IP project were held in 2004 and 2006:

Kind regards,

Ben Bildstein.
