Yes, congratulations, Brian. This is great news. As you know National
Library has been happy to support this in whatever we can as we do see it as
a crucial piece of the digital content landscape. The NZ Digital Content
Strategy was agreed to by Cabinet on 16 July and we are in the throes of
preparing it for publication on the web and in print (limited edition!). We
are awaiting Ministers advice as to when they want to launch and in what
format but I am sure that they will be pleased to give publicity to this
initiative which is highlighted in the NZ Digital Content Strategy.
