Hello.
I uploaded two sample packs i made from one of the audio sources for the
Copyright Criminals Contest, and they say i should contact the site
administration, and i would like to know if such packs are not suitable for
uploading, since the official rules document says: " For the avoidance of
doubt, you acknowledge and agree that the voice snippets
from the documentary that have been made available at the Contest page at
http://ccmixter.org/copyrightcriminals/view/contest/sources are licensed to
you
solely for the purpose of including them in an eligible remix entry that is
successfully submitted to this Contest and licensing in accordance with Rule
5.
You acknowledge and agree that neither you nor anyone else obtains any other
right to the voice snippets."

I did considered this point before uploading the zip packages, and concluded
it should be in accordance to the rules, considering:

1. the samples i uploaded are not the snippets themselves.
2. the samples are used in contest entries.
3.By using the samples i made no one is obtaining any other rights to the
snippets, and the samples are licensed in accordance with Rule 5.

Still, I am not a lawyer myself, and may be wrong, or have misunderstood the
rules document.

In any case i think it is best to delete those packs in order to avoid any
legal issues involving the site, whatever these may be, while their status if
fully considered on the legal aspects.

Best Regards.

Pablo Perez
